Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Merienda, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Merienda does

Merienda uses AI to analyze meal photos and estimate nutrition, tracks your intake against personal goals, and offers optional subscription features.

Not medical advice

Merienda provides nutrition estimates for general information only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary or health advice. Consult a qualified professional before making diet or health decisions, especially if you have a medical condition, allergy or intolerance.

Accuracy of AI estimates

Food detection and nutrition values are AI estimates and may be wrong. Portions, hidden ingredients and preparation methods affect actual values. Do not rely on Merienda where accuracy is critical.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Provide accurate profile information so goal calculations are meaningful.

Subscriptions

Pro and Premium are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through the App Store or Google Play. They renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel them in your store account settings.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: do not disrupt or overload it, reverse engineer it, or upload unlawful content.

Termination

You can stop using Merienda and delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merienda is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages or decisions based on nutrition estimates.

Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
